 invites applications for a
Custodian, at SVRSS,
 July 2, 2024, or as mutually agreed.

Custodians play an important role in schools as they are responsible for the cleanliness of various areas such as floors, furniture, hallways, lockers, washrooms, windows, offices, gyms, and other parts of the school, as well as performing minor maintenance tasks. They recognize that their job exists primarily because of kids and for kids.  School custodians value and take great pride in upholding a high standard of a clean, safe school and they enjoy doing it.

 The applicant must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should be able to work efficiently with others, and independently when necessary, with minimal supervision. The candidate must always prioritize personal and overall safety, especially in the workplace. Experience in maintaining and cleaning buildings is considered a valuable asset. The applicant should be physically fit to carry out strenuous activities such as moving classroom furniture, climbing ladders, shovelling snow, operating snow blowers, mowing lawns, and performing general maintenance on the building and equipment.

 40 Hours/Week, Competitive Salary and Benefits
