Treaty Land Acknowledgement

We, SVRSS, acknowledge that we are gathered on Treaty 4 territory. It is the traditional land of the Cree and Saulteaux people.

We acknowledge that Manitoba is the homeland of the Red River Metis and the Dakota Peoples. 

We acknowledge northern Manitoba includes lands that were and are the ancestral lands of the Inuit.

We respect the spirit and intent of Treaties and Treaty Making.

We remain committed to working in partnership with First Nations, Metis, and Inuit people in the spirit of truth, reconciliation, and collaboration
