First Harvest Celebration 🎉🌱

We’re excited to announce the First Harvest from the Growcer farm at Swan Valley School Division! 🍅🥬 Our students have been working hard, learning hands-on skills in hydroponic farming and sustainability, and today we celebrated the fruits (and veggies!) of their labor. 🌿

A big thank you to the SVSD Board of Trustees and our community partners for their incredible support in making this project a reality. And special recognition to the Kinsmen Club of Swan River for their vital contributions that helped launch this transformative initiative. 💚🙌

Exciting news—it’s Fresh Salad Friday at SVRSS! Everyone get’s to enjoy free, fresh salads at lunch, made with produce harvested from our very own Growcer farm. 🥗🌱

This initiative is all about giving students hands-on learning opportunities in agriculture while providing healthy food options for our school community. 🌞
