Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Bowsman School Website!

Bowsman School is a small, close-knit, learning community, with a staff of 7.25 full time teachers, in a multi-grade K-8 setting. Through the dedication of teachers and support staff, we are able to provide many extra opportunities for students throughout the school year. These include sports teams, garden club, band and music opportunities, healthy snack, and various enrichment activities. All students are encouraged to get involved and contribute to our Bison Pride!

Collectively, students and staff, work to maintain a strong connection with our community. We welcome parents’ input, participation and attendance at our Parent Advisory Council meetings. There are also school events held where community participation is welcome. These include our Grandmother’s Walk, Terry Fox Walk, Thanksgiving luncheon, Pancake Breakfast. Our students take pride in spearheading town and highway cleanups to help keep our community looking great! Many of these activities would not be possible without our numerous community organizations and businesses and we are very grateful for their continued support!

As a school we are continuously working towards improving ourselves and growing. Together, we can make a difference. We strive to have a school environment with high expectations, a safe learning environment and a place for students to make friends for life, become inspired to learn and love being a student here at Bowsman School.
