Seed Survivor, Plant Nutrient Classroom on Wheels, Visits Bowsman School

Nutrien’s Seed Survivor display, in partnership with Agriculture in the Classroom – Manitoba, visited Bowsman School on June 6^th.   Nutrien Ltd. is teaching the next generation about growing healthy plants and where food comes from through Seed Survivor.  Seed Survivor is a curriculum-based learning experience that encourages children to understand what make plants grow.  Students from kindergarten to grade 6 enjoyed the Seed Survivor Mobile Classroom where they had the opportunity to compete as virtual farmers, dig for real fossils (and learn how they relate to agriculture), and even planted a sunflower seed to take home and grow.
