The Great Egg Drop

Our Grade 4 science class conducted an experiment "The Great Egg Drop".  Their task was to create a contraption that could be dropped from various heights that would save an egg from breaking.  The egg vessels were made from various recycled materials such as cardboard boxes, plastic bags, newspapers, popsicle sticks, straws, water bottle, medical mask, etc. The contraptions were then launched from various heights beginning by standing still, all the way up to the top of the outside play structure.  Everyone's egg made it through the first drop rounds successfully!  Congratulations to The Great Egg Drop Champs : Alex, Aubree, Layla, Memphis and Victoria!
