Whitefish Trip

jakefish

On March 21st and 22nd  Mr. Bender’s Grades 5-8 Phys.Ed. classes went fishing to Whitefish Lake. They were both beautiful day’s with the weather being about -5 degrees Celsius and with little to no wind. The first day, in the first 5 minutes of fishing, two students hooked into fish but could not get them out of the water. By the end of the day, there were two fish caught and two more bites. On the second day, in the first half an hour, there were two northern pike caught and released. By the end of the day, two more were caught and had two other bites. The staff and students also enjoyed a hotdog lunch, and a warm fire to take the chill off during the day.  Thanks to those that helped out to make these trips a success!
