Heyes School Welcomes New Principal in September 2026

Swan Valley School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Allan-Fuchs as Principal of Heyes School, effective the upcoming school year. 

Jennifer brings a wealth of experience and a strong instructional background, including leadership in literacy intervention, the Numeracy Achievement Project, and student services. Swan Valley Regional Secondary School has benefited greatly from her collaborative support of student-specific plans, as well as her guidance and advocacy for educational assistants in their essential work. 

Minitonas School also benefited from Jennifer’s leadership this year when she served as Acting Principal for three months, providing stability and continuity during that time. 

In addition to her professional leadership, Jennifer demonstrates a deep commitment to student engagement beyond the classroom, dedicating countless extracurricular hours each year as manager of the Varsity Girls’ and Boys’ basketball teams.
