SVAPL Donation Drive at ÉSRSS

Announcement
svapl xmas

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the holiday season, our Grade 4/5/6 class is excited to organize a special Christmas donation drive to support the South Valley Animal Protection League (SVAPL). We believe in fostering a sense of compassion and responsibility in our students, and what better way to do that than by giving back to our furry friends in need.

Starting this December, we will be collecting donations for SVAPL, and we invite you and your child to participate in this heartwarming initiative. Our classroom Christmas tree will serve as a central collection point for the donated items. We aim to present these gifts to SVAPL during the last week of school before the holiday break.

The SVAPL has provided us with a wish list to ensure we meet the specific needs of their residents. Here are the items they are in need of:

  • Friskies or Fancy Feast PATE canned cat food
  • Kitten Chow (Pink Bag)
  • Dog kibble (Iams, Beneful, Dog Chow, PC, Purina)
  • Clumping cat litter

Your generosity in contributing any of these items will make a significant difference in the lives of the animals under the care of SVAPL. We encourage you to involve your child in the selection and donation process, as it will be a valuable learning experience for them.

Please ensure that all donated items are brought to school by December 18th, allowing us ample time to organize and present the donations to SVAPL. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.

Why SVAPL is Important:

The Swan Valley Animal Protection League plays a vital role in our community by providing a safe haven for animals in need. SVAPL is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and abused animals. They offer shelter, medical care, and love to animals that have often faced neglect and hardship. By supporting SVAPL, we contribute to creating a community that values and cares for its most vulnerable members.

SVAPL operates on the principle that every animal deserves a loving and permanent home. They work tirelessly to find suitable families for their residents, ensuring that each animal has the opportunity to lead a happy and fulfilling life. The league also plays an active role in educating the community about responsible pet ownership, advocating for spaying and neutering, and promoting animal welfare.

Thank you for your support in making this Christmas donation drive a success. Together, we can spread joy and warmth not only among our students but also to the animals awaiting their forever homes.

Wishing you and your family a joyful holiday season!

Sincerely,

Mme. Wintoniw - Grade 4/5/6 Teacher at ÉSRSS
