WORKPLACE SAFTEY AND HEALTH OFFICER

Swan Valley School Division is looking for a .25 Workplace Safety and Health Officer to start on November 1, 2021 or as mutually agreed.

Job Duties will include developing and monitoring all procedures for WSH such as:

  • Safe work procedures
  • Training sessions
  • Inspections and updates
  • Updating new information
  • Investigations
  • Organizing designated WSH Meetings
  • Other WSH duties as assigned


Schedule will be worked out with the successful candidate.  A possible schedule would be 1-1.5 days a week but can adjust.  Experience in Workplace Safety and Health would be an asset.

Benefits and pay will be discussed at the interview process.  Successful applicant must provide satisfactory Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks.

Swan Valley Regional Secondary School

Under the direction and supervision of the Culinary Arts Teacher, to assist with:

-Dishwashing

-General cleaning

-Assist the Foods Instructor

-Able to work in a team environment, work well with Students, Staff, Visitors and School Administration

-Other duties as assigned

 Successful applicant must provide Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks.
