Library Volunteer Program:

Duties: decorating, making decorations / posters, getting new books ready for the shelves, tidying up the library, putting books away, getting Scholastic flyers ready for students to pick up, book repair, errands, setting up for specific classes-storytime activities, etc., and computer work for those more advanced.

Grade levels: 5 -8

Requirements: Each student is expected to attend on their scheduled time, unless otherwise arranged with Mrs. Potts. This program is set up the same as a regular job, with responsibilities, and expectations such as punctuality, and reliability. The duration per day is 12:15-12:50 once a week, beginning in September and ending early June. Maximum sign up is 25 students.

Benefits: You get on the job experience! Working closely with our own unique little club, you also develop not only skills but friendships and new experiences.

Thanks to all the Volunteers who have joined this year! Everyone has been busy learning how to repair books and put books away properly.....and doing a great job!
